Chiduru Magai Pickle is not your regular mango pickle—it’s a flavor straight from the heart of rural Andhra. At Ammamma’s Pickles, we use raw mangoes that are handpicked when they’re just turning firm, then chopped finely into small pieces and sun-dried the traditional way. The slow drying under cotton cloths lets the mango absorb the sun’s hotness and hold onto its natural sourness.
Once dried, these mango pieces are mixed with roasted mustard, garlic, red chilli powder, fenugreek, turmeric, and cold-pressed groundnut oil. But the taste is in the timing we prepare every batch fresh after you place the order, to keep that perfect balance of tang, heat, and crunch alive.
