Some pickles are bold, some are fiery, but Koru Magai Pickle is all about tradition, patience, and texture. Made using sun-dried raw mango slices—cut thick, salted, and cured the traditional way—this variety is a treasured part of Andhra households. At Ammamma’s Pickles, we follow the same age-old method our grandmothers swore by.

Once the mango slices are fully dried and naturally cured, we blend them with sun-dried spice powders, hand-pounded mustard seeds, garlic pods, and fiery Guntur chillies, all roasted and ground fresh in-house. These slices soak up every bit of masala, creating a tangy, crunchy burst in every bite.

Every jar of Koru Magai is made only after your order, allowing time for the spices to settle in and bring out that authentic deep flavor. We use only cold-pressed groundnut oil, non-iodized rock salt, and zero preservatives or artificial colors.

The result? A crunchy, spicy, tangy pickle with a flavor that lingers and a bite that satisfies. Perfect with hot rice and a spoonful of ghee, or even with curd rice when you want something extra.
