Ammamma’s Pickles was born out of two things: our deep love for traditional homemade flavors and our passion for modern eCommerce. Founded by John Kamidi and Rahul Vithala, this brand is our tribute to the way our grandmothers used to make pickles—by hand, with care, patience, and clean ingredients.
We grew up with those unforgettable tastes—sun-dried mangoes, ground spices roasted on iron pans, and oil that carried the memory of every summer. Today, we’ve taken those same recipes from our family kitchens in Andhra Pradesh and brought them online so people across India and the world can experience the same magic.
Every jar of Ammamma’s Pickles is made only after you place an order. No preservatives, no shortcuts—just real ingredients and real flavor. From sourcing fresh produce to hand-mixing spices, we follow strict traditional methods under hygienic conditions.
This isn’t just a food business for us—it’s personal. It’s about reviving forgotten recipes, keeping regional taste alive, and giving everyone a spoonful of what home used to taste like.
Welcome to our kitchen. Let’s keep our Ammamma’s legacy alive, one jar at a time.
Founded in 2019, Ammamma’s Pickles was born out of a desire to share the cherished flavors of Andhra-style pickles with the world. Drawing inspiration from our grandmother’s kitchen in Rajamahendravaram, we have been dedicated to preserving the art of pickle-making, ensuring that each jar carries the warmth and authenticity of home.
In a cozy kitchen in Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh, our beloved Ammamma perfected the art of traditional pickle-making. Using local ingredients and secret family recipes, she created flavors that brought the whole family together.
Inspired by fond memories and the unmatched taste of Ammamma’s pickles, we decided to share this tradition with the world. Ammamma’s Pickles was officially born—starting from our home kitchen with just a few jars and a lot of love.
Word spread fast! As demand grew, we expanded to a small-scale production unit, ensuring quality stayed true to our roots. Our pickles began reaching homes across Andhra and Telangana.
We launched our website, making it easier for customers across India (and beyond) to enjoy the authentic taste of Ammamma’s Pickles. With just a click, our homemade flavors were now accessible nationwide.
We introduced new variety pickles—while keeping our traditional vegetarian favorites alive. Every jar continued to reflect our commitment to quality and authenticity.
We are proud to have a loyal customer base who call our pickles a staple in their kitchens. As we continue to grow, we remain rooted in the same values: love, tradition, and uncompromising taste.
