Though it may seem like a contemporary concept, Ammammas were making cauliflower pickles long before it was popular. With effort, care, and the correct spices, we at Ammamma’s Pickles have revived this delicious vegetable pickle the way it was prepared in Andhra homes.
After thoroughly cleaning and drying farm-fresh cauliflower florets to preserve their crunch, we marinate them in a tasty blend of turmeric, mustard seeds, methi, and hand-pounded red chilli powder. Cold-pressed groundnut oil is added to all of this to create the ideal Andhra-style tang and heat.
Since this pickle is created solely per request, it is always fresh and free of chemical colouring, preservatives, and shortcuts. The cauliflower absorbs all of the spice while remaining crispy inside the container.
It goes great with plain rice, pongal, chapatis, or even curd rice. One bite and you’ll know it’s not just a veggie it’s a full meal mood.
